Hokkei was a student of Hokusai Katsushika and he designed more than 30 poem-prints with flowers and (or) birds. This gallery shows 31 examples. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Hokkei used the ukiyo drawing style which was intended to entertain picture viewers so flowers and birds were drawn in creative ways.
